This week’s venue highlight goes out to Oatlands Historic House & Garden which is a great local venue in the Leesburg area to get married at!

I absolutely loved Castle Hill Cider for a couple of reasons! It’s about 30 minutes outside of Charlottesville proper and it’s such a beautiful drive past a lot of family owned farms. The Castle Hill Cider property itself is expansive with rolling hills and a lake but great for hosting a wedding since all of their venue spaces are centralized! They have a beautiful white and black barn with a wide space for their indoor receptions. They currently hold most of their ceremonies outside on the lawn with the arch being right in between four trees which looks beautiful!

One of my big pipe dream kind of goals for this year was to host my very first all day workshop for wedding photography! Just seven months later, I can’t believe it’s come and gone!

It was such an honor to be a part of Golu & Manna’s proposal! I got to Belle Isle bright and early and brought along Naveen to help with my cover haha! Manan gave Golu a scrapbook of memories from the years they’ve been together and then got down on one knee and she said YES!!!

Christine & Kenneth chose to have their engagement session at the Wharf since they had one of their first dates there! I love when couples choose a location that ties into their story. Their first date had involved ice cream (her love language she jokes) and lasted over 3 hours long!

Madhu & Colin planned to have their engagement session in Meadowlark Gardens out in Vienna just as it started to bloom and come back to life with spring blooms! I’ve been here a handful of times but I love seeing how it seems different each time I’m here depending on what’s springing up.
