Madhu & Colin planned to have their engagement session in Meadowlark Gardens out in Vienna just as it started to bloom and come back to life with spring blooms! I’ve been here a handful of times but I love seeing how it seems different each time I’m here depending on what’s springing up. Their laughs and their ease around each other is so cute and a surefire sign of how perfect they are for each other. I love their sense of humor with each other and it definitely made this engagement session SO fun and easy to capture!! Check out Madhu’s dress which is PERFECT for her!!
These two met in college and hit it off immediately! They started dating and eventually had to go long distance as Colin moved to DC. They continued to date each other despite the great distance which is something that I have a ton of respect for. I know personally, how hard that can be, and Madhu & Colin not only had to battle distance but a slight difference in time zones and coordinating flights to see each other. They realized that even though love meant more than distance, it made sense for Madhu to make it out to DC when she was looking for jobs!
Not too long after, they moved in together in D.C. which was a big win! Their relationship just seemed to keep progressing and after their parents met and instantly clicked with each other. They talked about getting engaged together and then that was that!! They’re now planning for their fall wedding which I know is going to be incredibly unique, just like these two! Their food menu seems like it’s going to be SO GOOD and they are so excited to be able to share a day together that is a reflection of them! The wedding will be at Glen Echo Park in Maryland which is going to be an absolute BLAST and fun to capture creatively!
