Emily & Brian first met in Boston and went on a brewery tour and spent the afternoon in their beerhall getting to know each other! It’s only fitting that they’re coming back to Virginia to get married at Stone Tower Winery next spring 🙂 They absolutely love adventuring in new cities together making them a true MP couple with a love of traveling.

I’ve had this idea for a styled shoot at Stone Tower Winery since January really but it was so cool watching it come to life with an AMAZING vendor team for the wedding photography workshop this past month!

Anish & Surabhi’s engagement party was a chance for all their friends and family to come together to celebrate at the Cascades Overlook Center in Sterling! It’s always such an honor when you get to photograph a couple multiple times from the proposal, to their engagement session at Stone Tower Winery (one of my favorites!) and their engagement party this past weekend!

Stephanie & Joe’s day at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was one to remember for years to come. They had waited so long and faced so many obstacles this year to make their wedding day happen! I was truly blessed to be by their families & guests sides to watch them tie the knot on the bayside!

This will hands down be my favorite shoot of 2020 and probably my favorite proposal ever because I’m biased and that girl down there is my BEST friend! We’ve known each other since before I was even two years old and to say we grew up together and that her family is like my family would be an understatement!

It has felt like a long and full month over here! I started out the New Year traveling to Asheville and Atlanta. It was fun celebrating with cousins in ATL that I hadn’t seen in the while! We got to tour the city which was really fun even on a rainy day and I can’t wait to go back (maybe this year?) to get to see more of it! I also got to travel to Texas for the first time in the middle of January for a business retreat that was refreshing and inspiring and got me ready to tackle some big things in 2020!

To celebrate my 24th birthday I figured I’d do something more personal and fun on the blog today! I’m not a huge birthday person and I actually was very meh about my birthday last year because I had some really big life goals that I was looking to hit in the upcoming year and that I felt I couldn’t really celebrate until I achieved those milestones!

Ok what a GEM of a place Keswick Vineyards is, nestled about 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville in the Keswick area! This beautiful house is owned by the Schornberg family and I was so fortunate to meet Brian when he was the videographer for Tatiana & Ky’s wedding over at Avon Hill Lodge! I was so lucky to get a little tour of the place while I was out visiting Charlottesville last month and can’t wait to be back in 2020 for photographing a wedding there hopefully!

King Family Vineyards is definitely a BEAUTIFUL venue especially for couples looking for mountain views  for their wedding day! The venue is very large and can host a ton of your friends and family!
