Getting to explore a new city is always fun for me but getting to explore Fredericksburg with Mary & Rory was such a treat! Rory grew up in the area and could point out little spots around the city that I wouldn’t have known on my own! I met Mary over video chat a couple of months ago but it was nice getting to hang out with her and Rory in person!! These two are so easy to get along with, it really felt like hanging out with old friends! Not only are they super cute together, they’re so kind and welcoming and most definitely have ALL the best food recommendations for Richmond (qualities I always look for in new friends haha). Mary went to UVA as well and we have a couple of mutual friends that I can’t wait to reunion with at the wedding. Rory went to W&M undergrad and after spending most of their time dating long distance, these two are super super excited to start a new chapter together finally living together in Richmond!
These two started dating after they met through the SEP program run by UVA to teach middle schoolers and high schoolers over the summer. They had a mutual friend that brought them together (Hi Callie!!) Their wedding is going to be at the John Marshall Ballroom in Richmond which is absolutely beautiful and they’ll have a winter aesthetic at their wedding with emerald green and silver sprinkled throughout! Rory knew he wanted a live band and they ended up going with an ELEVEN piece band that I’m really excited to hear! They’ll be playing a mix of music including some funk and I know it’s going to make their reception so much fun 🙂

We took a couple of pictures in their Coogi sweatshirts that were so fun haha! Rory is a huge fan and got Mary one for Valentine’s Day hahaha!
