Anish & Surabhi’s engagement party was a chance for all their friends and family to come together to celebrate at the Cascades Overlook Center in Sterling! It’s always such an honor when you get to photograph a couple multiple times from the proposal, to their engagement session at Stone Tower Winery (one of my favorites!) and their engagement party this past weekend! You get to be a part of their lives and capture all the joy and excitement for them to remember years down the road. We got group pictures with all the families that have loved and supported these two growing up and I am amazed at just how well connected these two are in their respective communities. I honestly can’t think of any two sets of families and family friends getting along better with each other! It’s safe to say their entire engagement party was one huge joyful & lively celebration!
Om Events absolutely knocked it out of the park with their stunning backdrop and decor and I loved how Surabhi & Anish worked with their bartenders to customize traditional Indian and American drinks for their guest. One of the highlights of the evening was a giant toast in the back corner and then dancing the night away to all the bhangra classics on the dance floor as Elite Entertainment kept the party going! The evening was filled with super touching speeches from both of their fathers, as well as uncles and grandparents that have watched these two grow up and find each other, five choreographed dances including Surabhi & Anish surprising their guests with dancing to Bollywood and Bhangra songs and their official ring ceremony 🙂
These two and their families are an absolute joy and crazy fun to photograph and to celebrate alongside! Each set of families made me feel so incredibly welcome and like a part of the celebration myself. Good luck to you two planning out your winter wedding, I know it’s going to be absolutely incredible and more importantly, the best and most fun day of your lives!!
