We made it to another Friday! This one went by a little quicker due to having a holiday for Labor Day Weekend! I would have loved to go to Annapolis for a crab eating feast but my dad didn’t come back from India until Monday, so another year it s! Whoever wants to come with me next year, just holler now and we’ll make plans.
Here’s a couple of highlights from the week!
- Monday was spent at a VT football watch party……I know, I know. I did NOT root for them (I went to UVA and will always be a Hoos fan through and through) but I got to see some friends from high school and it was nice to catch up with them!
- I’ve been watching Gilmore Girls again a lot lately and it probably has to do something with the fact that it’s starting to turn into fall! Some of the leaves are starting to turn colors and fall to the ground making for the perfect game of crunching them on the walk to work. I can’t wait for fall to really hit to break out the sweaters, keep the candles running all day long, and grab some apple cider donuts and pumpkins from Carter’s Mountain in Charlottesville.
- I started moving out of my apartment by incrementally bringing suitcases and boxes of stuff home. I can’t believe it’s been a year already and at the same time I feel like a completely different person than I did last year during this time. It’s crazy how fast life goes by post-college and how much things change.
- I mentioned this last week but the book “Essentialism” has become a total game changer and if you haven’t read it before I highly recommend it!
