I photographed Abhi & Anuj’s wedding day pictures last week! It was a CRAZY turnaround time because Abhi reached out on Monday and we photographed their pictures after their ceremony on Thursday!! That’s LESS than a week!! It turned out beautifully though! Initially, we were going to take images at the Hindu Temple in Sterling but after seeing the rain in the forecast, we decided to move the pictures a little later in the day and decided to take them in their backyard in Ashburn.

I’m hoping to kick off a mini series of blog posts within the upcoming weeks focusing on tips for brides to help them ensure that their wedding day runs smoothly! Today, I’m including a bunch of these tips (plus some more, because you know how I get with these informational posts) for you 2018 brides to consider about the getting ready portion of their day on the blog so let me jump right in!

They pulled the ENTIRE thing together in about 5 hours so that her dad would be able to be awake and witness it before he passed.

One of my big pipe dream kind of goals for this year was to host my very first all day workshop for wedding photography! Just seven months later, I can’t believe it’s come and gone!
These two had been waiting for their wedding day for a little while and it was such an honor to be able to finally capture their big day at St. Mary’s Church in Blacksburg where they had the most customized Catholic ceremony I’ve ever witnessed
