Lalaine & Jasheem are two incredibly sweet souls and within just a few minutes of meeting them you can see why they work so well together. They actually met at work and after a few dates (one with a sibling in tow haha!) they knew that their relationship was something special.
Their first date was at the National Harbor and then months of dating, they went to Canada together (brother still in tow!). They went on White Water Walk, took a spin in the aero car, and finished the day out on a cruise together. And after the most perfect day together, Jasheem proposed at the top of the Niagara Sky Wheel overlooking the dancing lights on the falls! And just after Lalaine said yes, fireworks went off in the sky! One of my FAVORITE proposal stories of all time!! I swear each of my couples have the most unique & beautiful ones!
They love each othersβ kindness and smiles and above all their faithfulness to each other. I always love getting to see what my couples quote as their favorite qualities in each other amplified during their wedding day. They shared βI Doβsβ among their family and friends that came to celebrate the day with them despite the pandemic. They had to move their wedding day from June to September but I’m glad that we got some light fall colors in their pictures, just like we had for their engagement session!
Both of them love the outdoors & nature so the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek was the PERFECT spot for them! Jasheem said over a year ago that the moment he was most looking forward to on the wedding day was watching his WIFE come down the aisle. They chose at the last minute not to do a first look and I think it was because they wanted this to be the pivotal moment of their wedding day π I swear this moment gives me goosebumps EVERY time. Itβs something thatβll never get old and I know itβs a moment heβll never forget either.
