When Manavi reached out to me to have her wedding day captured I was SO excited!!! Their wedding day at Poplar Springs Manor was INCREDIBLE and so so beautiful!! You’ll have to just look through the pictures because words could not do it justice!
I’ve known Manavi since high school math classes and was so honored when she reached out for her wedding day photography! I swear, it’ll never get old photographing such huge moments in my friends’ lives!! It is the sweetest honor to be able to celebrate with friends, see it up close and capture it for them to remember it years down the road. It’s like being an honorary bridesmaid with a camera hahaha including duties like keeping your bride hydrated with a long straw when her hands are full of mehndi! I loved getting to meet everyone at the Mehndi & Sangeet before the full wedding day. The wedding was absolutely stunning thanks to the incredible vendor team and everything went so smoothly! It was the MOST fun time I’ve had at a wedding in so long! Manavi & Quan were dancing it up and just having the time of their life throughout the ENTIRE time and their bridal party was so, so fun!
Quan was outfitted by Hani of Anis Collections and it was so cool to photograph her work on an actual wedding day since I’ve worked with her over the years to photograph pieces of her collection for brides! The Baraat was sooo much fun to capture – just see the pictures down below!! And the ceremony was so beautiful and everyone was seriously incredible even with the hot heat! We opted to photograph their sunset pictures in their reception space with their reception outfit and they are some of my favorite portraits of all time!
