After rescheduling and holding our breath over a big storm rolling through the area, we took Danielle & Connor’s BEAUTIFUL engagement session images at the Belle Grove Plantation in King George, VA! We luckily missed ALL the rain and they got such a perfect summer day 🙂 These two warmed up to the camera so quickly and they’re the sweetest and goofiest with each other with their inside jokes! I know their wedding day pictures are going to be even more beautiful this upcoming Spring!!
Danielle & Connor met on a “blind date” set up by their friends on the one summer Danielle spent away from her hometown. Her friends must have really been onto something because Danielle knew from her very first date that Connor was the man she wanted to marry! If that’s not the cutest thing you’ve ever heard, I don’t know what is!! They clicked instantly and she noted how easy it was to be with him and that she could imagine a whole life together with him 🙂 Connor must have felt the same exact way and after dating for about a year and a half he proposed to Danielle in his hometown of King George. So it was only fitting that we came back here for their engagement session. Danielle is a huge history buff so the Belle Grove Plantation was THE perfect spot!
They’ll be getting married this upcoming April at the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth near Danielle’s hometown! Their wedding is going to be SUCH a fun time celebrating with their family and their bridal party of 9 on each side!! I love a big bridal party because it’s DOUBLE the fun 🙂 Danielle described the day as fifty shades of blue including slate, navy, light blue and silver and I can not WAIT to see how it turns out! Knowing her and her style, it’s going to be absolutely incredible! But until then, enjoy these pictures from their engagement session 🙂
Belle Grove is so pretty!!
IN LOVE with her ring! Super excited for their wedding which is going to be complete with all the shades of blue which is pretty much the most ideal wedding color palette!
Danielle is low key GORGEOUS!!
