Doing a little something different on the blog today! I had the privilege of connecting with Jackie, of Rust Manor House & Nature Sanctuary out in Leesburg, over email a few weeks back and had scheduled a time to drop by and meet her in person! The Rust Manor House is only a half an hour out from my home and I reached there on a day that was the perfect transition from summer to fall. The beautiful historical house hosts a beautiful foyer with the most gorgeous chandelier, parlor and dining room, a library that makes you feel right at home, a bridal suite and their 68-acre grounds that are the perfect site for a ceremony and tented reception that is capable of hosting up to 200 of your friends and family.

I spent the first twenty minutes talking with Jackie getting to know her in person, and I’ve never met a venue coordinator that was so easy to relate and talk to! She immediately made me feel welcome at their place and I can’t wait to work with her again. I got to learn about how business had picked up so much for them in the past couple of seasons and what their fall season is looking like this year.
