Announcing the MP Wedding Photography Intern Application!
From my own past experience, I have learned SO much from a handful of photographers that gave me the incredible opportunity to second shoot multiple weddings with them and pick their brain about any photography questions that I had! I want this to be a beneficial experience for everyone involved and am SO hyped to bring together a small community of ladies that are going to make a great collective & supportive team throughout the 2019 and 2020 wedding season!
All the Perks!
My second shooters will be photographing 2-3 fall weddings with me in 2019 and get first dibs at second shooting spring 2020 weddings with me as well. Second shooting interns will be PAID for each 8 hour wedding day! Monthly, we’ll get together with each other over coffee at a local spot and discuss a business topic to further grow each of our businesses throughout the year. Each intern will be added to an exclusive Facebook group to stay on the same page & provide answers to questions anyone has about anything photography related! Think of it as your mini-mastermind group to help you with any tough business related questions you have!!
I will also be hosting a small scale workshop & styled shoot over the summer for my interns to learn exactly how I approach photographing a wedding day & running my photography business. You will get 2.5 hours of content on the day of, a comprehensive website & social media review, updated headshots & beautiful images from the styled shoot you can immediately include in your portfolio! Application Requirements
You must be local to the Northern Virginia/D.C. area and be available to shoot 2-3 weddings in the VA/MD area to be eligible. Any prior wedding experience is preferred! I’m looking for second shooters that will be a value add to the wedding day on top of taking beautiful images 🙂
