I ended my 2020 (albeit short) wedding season with Molly & Gill’s intimate & classic Intercontinental Wharf Wedding in DC! They opted for a minimony with their closest loved ones and will be having a larger wedding reception down the road like many of my 2020 couples! I’m so honored to have been a part of their intimate wedding and it truly was one I’ll never forget!
Molly got ready at the InterContinental at the Wharf Hotel in DC! This has been a DREAM location to work at for so long!! I’ve always told my mom that I want to take wedding pictures there one day and that “making it” in life would look like getting to see fireworks from the hotel or enjoying a swanky meal there!
I loved that we not only took Molly’s bridal pictures in the lobby but that she also had a sweet first look with her dad there and that we later came back to the hotel for portraits of her and Gill!
Molly & Gill met in DC over a long first date dinner and connected over their shared love for traveling, college basketball, a good meme and their Southern alma matters of Ole Miss & Duke (talk about my kinda people!!) Despite their busy schedules and lives in DC, they’ve always carved out time for each other and seen their relationship grow because of it! I’m so grateful that they chose me to capture the start of their marriage!! These are some of my favorite winter wedding photos of all time, so I’ll let you get right to ’em!
