JEN & PATRICK HARBOUR VIEW FALL WEDDING
Jen and Patrick’s wedding day at Harbour View was absolute perfection!! These two were one of the first weddings I booked after knowing I was going to go full time with photography! They were so encouraging even during the consult and have continued to be throughout the entire process. That goes to show what they’re like as people. Kind, warm-hearted, accepting, and down to earth! Plus Jen has the most beautiful sense of style as you can see from their engagement session in Old Town Alexandria last fall!
It was only fitting that they got married at Harbour View with their love of the water. Harbour View in the height of the fall colors is a sight to see and it’s no secret that I absolutely love this venue and their staff. From getting ready, Jen’s bridesmaids seeing her in her wedding dress, to Patrick seeing Jen walk down the aisle, and celebrating with so many family and friends from around the country with a mix of country and old school dance hit music, it was an incredible day from start to end!
One thing that really stuck out to me was how much they incorporated signing into their wedding day. Jen and Patrick signed their vows to each other, Patrick’s father signed part of his speech to Jen and it was the SWEETEST moment of the night, they had a friend translate their ceremony & reception for others and some of the gals were evening signing all the lyrics to all the songs at the reception!! So of course we had to include it in their portraits as well, you’ll have to scroll for those 🙂
Thank you SO MUCH to Jen & Patrick, you guys are the sweetest and it was my absolutely pleasure to capture your engagement photos and then wedding day! Even my second photographer couldn’t stop gushing at how nice you two were! And I couldn’t stop blushing when Jen gave ME a gift on HER wedding day!! It was the sweetest touch with such a beautiful note, I can’t believe I lucked out with being your wedding photographer!!

Their reception was simple but stunning! I loved the little light houses throughout the day tying back to where Patrick proposed!
Their dessert table was INCREDIBLE!! You could smell it before you saw it haha
Safe to say Patrick was a fan!!
Also this pasta was driven over from his favorite place in New York and prepared on the spot and it was SO GOOD!!
YESS another fun entrance!! I swear my couples are the greatest 🙂
They had sparklers that went off throughout their first dance and their reception!!
This game is always my favorite thing at receptions!!
And they ended the night with real sparklers 🙂
