It was the perfect in between summer and fall Saturday, nestled in the mountains of Maryland where you could feel the beginning of fall. And about five minutes out from the bride’s house, we spotted the most gorgeous mountain backyard, with all the rays of sun pouring in and we just KNEW that there would be no better place for Cheyenne & Mason to have their first look. They had known each other for years and years and today was the day that they would finally be together forever. Cheyenne got ready in her home, and she stepped into her gorgeous white lace dressing right in front of the mantle which had “HARLEY” spelled out, her soon to be last name. Mason had sent her a little note and gift, a gorgeous ring, that she read right before going over to the spot among the mountains for their first look. Oh man, this first look. I can’t do it any justice with words, you just have to see it. Mason & Cheyenne, they are the sweetest with each other, you can just tell immediately after seeing them together, it doesn’t take more than 30 seconds to see just how in love they are and how when they’re with each other, there’s a certainty and a calmness that ensures that everything will be ok.
Their ceremony was only 20 minutes away from where they lived at Kumps Dam Park. Their wedding arch was nestled under the summer trees right in front of the water dam. Their reception roof was decorated completely in string lights and was open to a small lake where they had the cutest bench with “Mr” and “Mrs” pillows that all of their guests loved. Both Cheyenne & Mason made sure that everyone was taken care of even if it was their day. And you could tell just how loved these two were amongst all of their guests. Them as well as their ring bearer who brought the ring down the aisle on a mini tractor and the flower girl that was cheered on by all the guests 🙂 The whole day was easygoing, filled with small rustic accents, and full of love. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Cheyenne and Mason, you were the most joyous bride & groom and I know that you will care for each other in your marriage the same way you did with each other and your guests on your wedding day!
Thank you Chelsea Schaefer for having me along to second shoot this wedding with you!! Check out her blog post of their day here!
