Shooting branding sessions for incredible creative entrepreneurs has been lighting me up recently! It’s so different and requires a different set of creativity muscles than weddings! I love how branding marries creativity and strategy so perfectly. Getting to photograph for Alli’s brand was so much fun!!
I had to stretch the limits of my creativity when thinking up different concepts to illustrate her work. Alli is an information design consultant, meaning she takes complex sets of data and turns them into easy-to-understand infographics that researchers can use in their work. She also runs her own podcast as well!
Her entire process is very collaborative and client-driven and we wanted to pull that aspect into her photos, too. We decided to shoot in her own home office and wanted to convey refinement, trustworthiness, and high-end yet collaborative with an illustrative flair!
