It’s the year of 2024 and we’re all looking to increase both our income and impact — even in the midst of an economy that can’t quite make up it’s mind yet!
I have weathered such years in my business before and no matter WHAT the economy is doing – this is what I’d recommend to my coaching clients who are looking to add more weddings to their calendar for the upcoming year!
Hi I’m Manali – owner of Manali Photography. I’m a business coach and wedding editor for wedding photographers that are looking to build a free & fulfilling business while increasing their income AND their impact.
Before we dive into the 3 strategies I’d recommend for booking more clients — I wanted to let you know that I have a free gift below.
Alright, let’s dive in to my THREE TIMELESS strategies for booking more clients:
1. Cultivate Strong Client Relationships for Referrals: Emphasize the importance of building genuine connections with clients throughout the wedding planning process. Satisfied clients can be powerful advocates for a photographer. Encourage your peers to go above and beyond in client communication, exceed expectations, and create memorable experiences. These satisfied clients are more likely to refer their photographer to engaged friends, contributing to a steady stream of bookings.
2. Collaborate with Wedding Vendors: Highlight the value of establishing collaborative relationships with other wedding vendors, such as wedding planners, florists, and venues. Actively participate in the wedding industry community, attend networking events, and seek opportunities for collaboration. When vendors trust and appreciate a photographer’s work, they are more likely to recommend them to their clients. This network can become a valuable source of referrals, contributing to increased bookings.
3. Showcase Personalized Client Stories: Encourage fellow wedding photographers to showcase not only their stunning portfolio but also the personal stories and experiences behind each wedding. Share client testimonials, behind-the-scenes moments, and the unique aspects that make each wedding special. This humanizes the photographer’s brand and helps potential clients envision their own special day. Personalized storytelling creates an emotional connection and sets the photographer apart, leading to increased inquiries and bookings.
