Let me fill you in on a little secret: running a business is like *the* ultimate game of personal development
Hear me out, you combat things like:

✨ getting over the f.e.a.r. of constantly having to put yourself *out-there* to market your business
✨ figuring out what is #1 P-R-I-O-R-I-T-Y is because you’re runnin’ on limited time & a to-do list that never ends

Here are 3 MAJOR mindset mistakes you could be making in your business:
1️⃣ Making everything about Y-O-U
Spoiler alert: Your business isn’t really about you — ouch — I know!
Truly, your business exists to SERVE your clients.
I see photographers make the mistake of making it alllll about themselves. . .
>>> Rather than letting their clients see themselves in your website copy, marketing, pricing & even in your consult and inquiry process.
SOLUTION #1: Flip-the-script: Audit ~evvveryyything~ you have that’s client-facing — and make sure it is all keeping your client as the numba-one!
2️⃣ You burn out from over-serving & a lack of boundaries
Some people go the total OTHER way and get so busy hustling to serve their clients exceptionally that they have have z-e-r-o boundaries. . .
Which leads to a major case of burnout. This might seem contradictory to #1, but it’s really not!
There IS a way to run your business where you’re serving your clients well (and *heck* every over-delivering!) without burning yourself out.
Your business’ MESSAGING should put your client as #1, but your actual business STRUCTURE and backend should put YOU as #1.
Because if you’re not at 100%, then neither is your business. YOU, are your business’ #1 asset, my friend.
SOLUTION #2: If this is you, it’s time to start with a clean-slate and ONLY add things back in that are absolutely life-giving to you and your clients. Put some c-l-e-a-r boundaries in place — both internal & external!!
3️⃣ You’re getting stuck on taking bold action
You have a HUGE vision but your fear is getting in the way of making progress towards it OR You have a ~ton~ of ideas but are paralyzed on which to prioritize & take action on first
Clarity comes with action and taking those baby-starting steps. It does help to have an overall vision that’s guiding your overall success and outlining what would be helpful to move towards.
But it’s freeing to know that you WON’T know it all when you’re first getting started. You figure things out as you go along.
Don’t let perfection get in your way of getting started and putting something truly beautiful out into the world!
SOLUTION #3: Start taking action BEFORE you have everything figured out or 100% perfect.
Progress > perfection!
If you can visualize the outcome, trust that the next-right-step will present itself to you.
