Taking pictures of Nicky is always a dream!!  I’ve loved getting to know Nicky throughout high school as well as being able to stay in touch with her after I’ve graduated by taking her portraits for her junior prom as well as over this winter break. I’m proud of this girl for all the work she’s put into competing in and winning DC’s Miss India pageant, learning bhangra over the summer and now her college applications to decide where she’ll be next year! 

I love the portraits in the twisted twig sculpture and thank goodness it was one of the warmest spots too!
