I had the honor of second shooting David & Nicole’s wedding alongside Jontell Vanessa Photography at the beginning of the school year. We spent the warm Saturday afternoon documenting Nicole finally being wed to her sweetheart David in front of their friends & family in a beautiful church. The entire place had been decorated by Nicole’s mother and the ceremony was draped in white sash & lavender. And the love between these two? Incomparable. It was so nice seeing how comfortable and at ease these two were around each other, as if they are just simply meant to be.Β I especially loved watching Nicole get ready and the ceremony from their wedding. I remember the look of pure joy and anticipation on Nicole’s face during that last moment that Nicole messaged David before putting her phone away to get ready for the ceremony.Β Nicole & David, I wish you the very best as you move towards the rest of life as a married couple!! π
I loved capturing all the details and the getting ready portion of the day. Nicole’s mom and grandmother helped her get into her wedding dress and it was just the sweetest time and filled with laughter. Nicole’s dress was actually a two piece wedding dress that fit seamlessly together and looked gorgeous!!
Did I mention that the ceremony space was just GORGEOUS and set up by Nicole’s mother?! How beautiful is it??!! I especially loved the lit candles down the aisle & Nicole and David’s lighting of their very own candle during the ceremony.

All of the groomsmen were dressed to the nines AND had some pretty fly socks. I loved taking the groomsmen portraits and seeing how well these guys just got along!
These portraits during golden hour before their reception started will always be some of my favorites. Just look at these two!! They’re so sweet with each other!
The reception followed with the lavender themed and was coupled with good food, great speeches, a garter and bouquet toss, and a tasty cake. The first dances were especially heartwarming to watch!
David & Nicole, I hope you enjoyed your wedding day as much as I did. I was blessed to witness the love that you two share and that you committed to in front of your friends and family during your ceremony. I know that you will continue to carry each other through your lives with the same care and kindness & I’m excited for you to do so together!!
