Bringing back this blog post from Tatiana & Ky’s wedding day at Avon Hill Lodge in Charlottesville, Virginia to celebrate springtime!
First off, any day that’s put together by Angelica & Co Weddings, is AUTOMATICALLY going to be a good one! Tatiana & Ky have been coming to Avon Hill for years and have spent so many summer days with their friends who dreamed up and made this venue come to life. They had friends and family from all over the country hosted in Charlottesville, which has now become their current hometown. I know their friends and family loved getting a glimpse of what life nestled in the Blue Ridge is like during their wedding and I loved how well each side of the family really came together as a community around these two throughout the day. The whole day was full of traditions that truly represented Tatiana & Ky. Their ceremony stuck out as a unique one that will be remembered forever and included four foundational aspects of their relationship. They had some of their best friends come up and speak some words of wisdom for each part. Tat & Ky had papel picado banners up for their reception, had hand painted tile coasters for their guests to take home, and their reception open floor kicked off with some soul train to start the night!
They also chose to do a first look which you probably already KNOW I love!! Tatiana was talking to Ky right before he got to turn around and see his bride for the very first time! Their first look was so, so cute and they were so happy to be able to spend their wedding day together! Before I go on and on for days about these two, here are some of my favorites from the day 🙂 Tatiana & Ky, I hope you had the most incredible day of your life and I can’t wait to see all the pictures of you two enjoying married life from Bali!!
