Neil flew all the way down from New York to CHO (Charlottesville’s airport) to spend a weekend with his sister, Maya, who is currently a third year at the University of Virginia. These two remind me so much of each other it’s crazy!

Neil flew all the way down from New York to CHO (Charlottesville’s airport) to spend a weekend with his sister Maya who is currently a third year at the University of Virginia. I’d heard so much about Neil from Maya, it was great finally being able to meet him! These two get along so well as brother and sister and from these photos you can tell how much they genuinely enjoy spending time with each other.

They caught the Lawn at a gorgeous time when all the leaves were turning yellow in the background.

I love these candid ones of them attempting to make funny faces at each other and making each other laugh instead.

We had a good time scouting out gorgeous fall trees that we could incorporate into their shoot. And of course no photo shoot is complete without finding the perfect bunch of leaves to mess around with.

I hope you guys had a good time taking these pictures, I know I certainly did! It was so nice to finally meet Neil and I hope the Singh’s got the Christmas card cover photo that they were looking for!

My aunt convinced my brother & cousin to get dressed in their graduation robes again to take some family pictures before my cousin headed on his cross-country road trip to start working in San Francisco & my brother left for UVA orientation.

My aunt convinced my brother & cousin to get all dressed up fancy and in their graduation robes to take family pictures, especially with their grandma, before my cousin left on his across the country road trip to San Francisco. It was burning outside but after a little conviction, bit by bit we got the entire family dressed up to take portraits.

Peep my dad getting ready half way through.

I know this looks really silly but it’s a tradition. He picked up my cousin like this for his high school graduation so it was only right that he followed through for the college graduation.

No shame playing Boom Beach in the middle of a photo shoot while waiting for our family to get dressed & ready.

It’s been a couple of weeks since my cousin moved out to San Francisco and we just FaceTimed him for the first time yesterday to see what his new life over there is like. I miss him a lot and am very grateful that I don’t have to be separated from my brother in a similar fashion. My brother will be coming to UVA with me in the fall & I can’t wait to see how he takes on college!
