After having to move their April wedding to November, Semir and Manal eventually decided to move their Carnegie Institute for Science DC wedding to be held at the National Arboretum. They had been engaged on the steps of the Carnegie Institute for Science so it was a decision they didn’t take lightly. The two were officially married with close family and friends in June but decided to celebrate with more friends and family!
They had the most beautiful spring day at the Arboretum! We had plenty of time to capture their details & they opted to do a first look before their reception and take pictures with their friends and family to celebrate before they enjoyed an evening with their people after a LONG year!
Their day was emotional, heartfelt and beautiful from start to end! It was especially touching hearing Semir thank their parents for all the sacrifices they had made to bring their children to the US and to raise them here. It spoke directly to my heart as the child of immigrants myself.
Semir & Manal, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day and being so graceful throughout all the up’s and down’s and changes over this past year! You both are the absolute sweetest and your families were a joy and pleasure to work with! I have been counting down to this day for so long with you and it was everything I imagined for you all!
A huge thank you to their vendor team!! You guys made this day absolutely stunning & beautiful from start to end π
