The Challenge

Before this launch, my client found herself caught between running her photography business, managing students, keeping up with content, and trying to execute a high-level workshop launch—without enough backend support.

She wanted to:

  1. Focus on pre-launch nurture content and community-building
  2. Show up more consistently on Instagram and Stories
  3. Avoid getting bogged down in tech setup, funnels, and email marketing
  4. Maximize ticket sales with a smooth, professional launch experience

The Launch Strategy and Setup

To support this event launch, I worked with her through my Digital Product Launch OBM services to create a detailed backend plan, including:

✅ Strategic Launch Timeline

We created a full Asana board mapping out the entire 10+ week launch flow:

  1. Waitlist Phase (April 8–11) to build early excitement
  2. Early Bird Phase (April 14–28) to reward action-takers
  3. Full-Price Phase (April 29–June 20) to fill the event
  4. VIP Ticket Window (through May 27) with urgency built-in

This gave her total visibility on what was happening when—and let her plan her marketing without the last-minute scramble.

✅ Email Marketing System (FloDesk Setup)

I drafted, loaded, and scheduled a full email funnel inside FloDesk, including:

  1. Pre-launch nurture emails (to warm up leads)
  2. Early bird announcement emails (playing up scarcity)
  3. Launch emails (value-driven, FAQ-based, urgency-focused)
  4. Last-call reminders (for early bird and VIP cutoffs)

Instead of scrambling to write emails mid-launch, she had all messaging ready and scheduled ahead of time.

She could relax and simply engage with her audience, knowing emails were automatically guiding leads to purchase.

✅ Tech + Funnel Setup

I set up and tested all backend tech:

  1. ThriveCart checkout pages (for VIP, VIP+, and Standard ticket levels)
  2. Coupon codes for Early Bird bonuses
  3. Payment plan options
  4. Showit Sales Page
  5. Seamless integrations between her sales page, ThriveCart, and email marketing

Everything worked smoothly behind the scenes so she could confidently sell without tech headaches.

✅ Social Media Content Planning

I created a custom content plan for her to reference for Instagram:

  1. Launch announcements
  2. Countdown reminders
  3. BTS content ideas from her editorial work
  4. Nurture topics to build connection during the pre-launch phase

This helped her stay visible without feeling like she was making it up as she went.

Every post had a purpose—and it showed.

The Results

✨ She had her best event launch in years—with multiple VIP tickets selling out quickly during the early access window.

✨ She felt more present and energized during her pre-launch, showing up consistently on Instagram and Stories without worrying about the backend.

✨ She stayed focused on building genuine audience connection while all backend workflows ran automatically.

✨ She had a clear, low-stress path mapped out from pre-launch all the way through ticket close.
