You know that feeling when you come home from traveling to a clean home? Or if you can NOT resonate with that (I get it, no judgment here!!), that feeling when you come to a clean hotel room with the sheets & bed made justtttt so?
I LOVE that feeling!!! And chances are if you’re in the middle of a crazy season – you are craving a bit of that feeling in life or your business! One of my favorite company’s motto is “We believe that simple is best” and I absolutely love that because it’s so true! So often we overcomplicate & overthink too much in our life! Which leads to a BIG question that could carve out space for more of that fresh start feeling for you….

Can you carve out some time TODAY — what is ONE task you can cross off today to simplify your life?
I’m talking “Set a 15 minute phone timer & run around to see how much you can accomplish” type of time – not an hour!! Remember, keep it simple! And then see how the ball keeps moving and the rush of momentum you gain and who knows, you might just tackle another little area!
Here are a few quick tips to simplify your business as we roll into a new quarter!
- Do an audit of all of your collateral – I’m talking your email templates, your email signature, your client questionnaires, your workflows, your marketing plan & channels – is there anything that needs to be updated or refreshed? Do you need to rethink or upgrade any of your systems?
- If you haven’t already, be sure to run through my Business Simplicity Refresh Challenge – it has 31 easy quick-fixes to spruce up your business overall!
- Take a look at your analytics for the past month or quarter! I am a huge believer that your numbers & data should help inform your business decisions and help you figure where to put your time & energy since we only have a limited amount of it! Take a look at your biggest website traffic generators, the referral sources that are actually bring in your BOOKINGS (not just your referrals – you’d be surprised, sometimes there’s a difference) and a look at your social media analytics to figure out which types of content are performing well for you!
