I have been so excited for Madhu & Colin’s wedding day at Glen Echo Park since their engagement session when we got to talk about it! Madhu & Colin are SO fun to be around and are so welcoming with everyone that they meet! Their wedding day was a huge example of their personality, a mixture of their traditions and a lot of love shared between them, their friends and family!
Madhu & Colin had the most unique wedding ever with Glen Echo Park being such a fun venue! Their day was filled with color, quirks that these two share! They both got ready in the same space but opted to do a first look that was still so cute. They spent time just as the two of them talking to each other after seeing each other in their outfits for the day!! I think Colin was still stunned even after knowing what Madhu’s dress would look like, seeing it on his beautiful bride! You’ll see pictures of it but I loved the little nod of adding in their wedding date and their initials to the back of her dress! Haven’t ever seen that been done before but I loved that little detail they thought to add! They had a beautiful ceremony that fused together their traditions. They had parts of a traditional Indian ceremony and parts of an Irish one with garlands and wedding necklaces, walking around the lamp was mixed with a reading of a traditional Irish marriage poem! They kept their wedding day simple, relaxed and fun! Their beautiful navy, purple, gold & fuschia peacock themed reception space was so beautiful! And they kept the fun going literally ALL night with such funny speeches by both of their parents as well as Madhu’s brother, their maid of honor and best man!
It was a blast capturing #MuchMadhuAboutColin and I’m so excited to live vicariously through you both as you honeymoon to Santorini, Greece, the NUMBER ONE place on my bucket list!! Take ALL the pictures on your honeymoon while I edit ALL the pictures from your wedding back home. Love you two!
