This proposal had been in the talks for months!! Karan initially reached out to me after his friend Pulkit had referred me! You may remember Sayali and Pulkit’s ceremony, engagement session, or proposal and I’m so glad he passed my name along! Karan and I started talking and emailing back and forth. He told me that he planned to take his soon-to-be fiancé on a boat ride at Georgetown and that he wanted to walk along the waterfront to bring her to a spot where a bunch of her friends would come out of nowhere for a dance flash mob!! This was going to be EPIC!
As we got closer and closer to the date we talked through all the details and timing on the phone, making sure we had plenty of time before sunset so that after the proposal the two of them could get some pictures together. And let me tell you, planning for that sunset time was THE BEST because we got some gorgeous evening light and glow for their portraits, it was kind of sort of completely magical!!! When I met with the Karan the day before I realized that the flash mob wasn’t to any old song but “Marry Me” by Bruno Mars!!! Couldn’t think of a more perfect song if I tried hahahaha
These two super cute together and I loved capturing Urvee’s reaction to the whole proposal!! She wouldn’t stop smiling the entire evening and probably not even after they finished up their pictures and headed onto their YACHT to sail off into the sunset! Cheers to you two and the rest of the crew that helped make this proposal absolutely perfect!!! Good luck with planning everything for your wedding in Mumbai in January, I’m sure it’s going to be equally as epic!!
When you start to get a clue of what’s going on!!
They killed it!!
And then your fiancé GOES UP!!

And realizing how your fiancé set up the whole evening!
And then LOTS of looking at the ring!!
