Capturing the Essence of Jennifer’s Vibrant Branding Session in Cincinnati’s Over the Rhine
For Jennifer of the Maker Bee Hive’s brand session we encapsulated the creative force that she is behind a brand that embodies authenticity, vibrancy, and heart-centered connection.
Her brand session was in the most colorful & on-brand Airbnb in the Cincinnati Over the Rhine area – serving as a backdrop that was as eclectic as her own brand! The space exudes creativity and artistic energy on its own but Jen really made the time to curate the props she brought with her to really transform into a space that could have been her very own home studio. We ended up with the most charming, maximalist, colorful & cozy interior space to shoot in that perfectly aligned with Jennifer’s brand essence.
A World of Color and Creativity
As the head of the Maker Bee Hive – Jen runs a monthly membership that offers live art classes specifically for women who are in their 50’s. These classes center on creating art from objects that are gathered from their daily lives that are then transformed into an imperfect, yet beautiful piece of art. Jen really emphasizes the joy in the process throughout the classes and the community that is created through the membership as well!
The session beautifully captured Jennifer’s approachable and encouraging demeanor. It showcased her unique style, where vibrant colors meet unconventional creativity. Her eclectic taste in fashion and accessories added a playful yet relatable touch to every shot.
Jennifer’s brand thrives on community-driven connections, and this theme was woven throughout the session. The images captured moments of students engaging with their creative processes, laughing, and sharing ideas. The maker bee aprons and past conference t-shirts highlighted the sense of belonging within her community.
We wanted to showcase that her brand is all about embracing imperfections, fostering creativity, and building a joyful, heart-centered community. So we made sure to keep her brand descriptors in mind while shooting: authentic, fun, colorful, and unique — to ensure that they spoke through every frame we captured!
