2020 is truly a year of visiting places for the first time! In January I traveled to Texas for the first time and in February I got to travel to Mexico for the first time ever with my family! I’m really glad we found one week where everyone’s’ schedules worked out since that truly doesn’t happen very often especially with my travel schedule for shoots & weddings.
We traveled to Cabo and stayed at the RIU Palace which also made it my first time ever at an all-inclusive resort. Which meant that all our food and drink (and all the cappuccinos that my heart desired) were included! I think it was one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve ever been on for a couple of different reasons. We were there for about four days and I spent a lot of time reading Harry Potter poolside, walking along the beach, and in general around the resort and the two neighboring ones as well. We did still travel out to the beautiful beach, the marina, and go ATV riding through the desert which was awesome.
I loved just how vibrant and colorful things were even in February and the laid back vibe of all the locals and even those who had traveled in to stay at the resort. It was my first time in three years not brining my laptop on a vacation and that was equally nerve-wracking and freeing at the same time!
Here’s a little roundup of some cell phone pictures I took! It was really creatively refreshing getting back to taking landscape and travel pictures on vacation 🙂
All of these images were taken on my iPhone and edited with my friend Megan Kelsey’s Prism Presets!
