I had the absolute honor to be the second photographer at Samantha & Jacob’s intimate wedding at The Morrison House in Alexandria at the end of this summer. They celebrated their day with close family and friends. Their love for each other was evident throughout the day especially when they would make funny faces at each other in order to crack laughs for photos. I loved that they had their guests paint a canvas with a bare tree with fingerprints as leaves and then added their own immediately after the ceremony. I hope you enjoy the details of the day that I caught alongside Vanessa Smith who was the primary photographer. Be sure to check out her blog post of the day and the rest of her work on her website!
Aww look at all these adorable cute kids 🙂
They put their fingerprints on the canvas together hand in hand. It was one of my favorite moments throughout the day.
Such a sweet first dance!
I had such a great time learning from this incredible opportunity. I was definitely nervous going in but am so glad that I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding this summer! I wish Samantha & Jacob the very best and hope that they can relive their beautiful day through the pictures!
