I’ve been friends with this girl since high school and last year she was one of my few friends that let me take them to random places around Grounds in order to get “candid” shots of student life at the University. She dealt with all my crazy living habits last year as my roommate (namely the blaring alarms that I didn’t happen to hear every morning…sorry Erin) and I couldn’t imagine my time at UVA without her.
Last Friday I got to take Erin’s portraits at the peak of fall around UVA during golden hour. I was in photography heaven due to the gorgeous lighting on the Lawn, the fall colors and being able to use my new 85mm lens for portraits. Below are some of my favorite posed & candid ones of this gorgeous girl!
Erin’s column pictures are probably some of my favorites ones that I’ve taken!
I’m glad she was so open to trying out a new spot around UVA to take our last set of pictures to take advantage of the fall colors in the backdrop!
