We all have an INSANE and incredible amount of talent within us. But sometimes we go to compare that talent against other amazing photographers and we lose sight that our talents are EXTRAORDINARY to the ones around us….. especially to our clients!
Here’s an example of what I mean by this if you’re a visual person like I am.
This is my best friend’s Instagram profile feed. She is what I would consider an IDEAL client of mine!
Notice any images that stick out as EXTRAORDINARY?
I sure bet the average person does – aka your ideal client probably would!!
Now yes, I do agree that there are probably HUNDREDS of photographers in your particular area that do what you do!
But I do think that if you can do just ONE thing that sets you apart when they first reach out to you – that you have an incredible chance on making a huge first impression & impact on them!
So now to the good stuff — you’re wondering what booked the $12K wedding right?!
I sent a video in response to their wedding inquiry.
And then I embed that video into a personalized wedding investment guide with their names, their wedding date & venue included on the page!
I do this with each and every wedding inquiry that I receive. . .
But not every photographer takes the extra 5 minutes to record a personalized video response for every wedding inquiry they receive!
That stands out as EXTRAORDINARY in a sea of ordinary responses!
