How I Got Started with Photography

September 1, 2020

In today’s video I’m breaking down my photography journey from start to where I am today! I started off with a tiny point and shoot taking pictures on our family vacations! Only a couple of years later I got to second shoot my first wedding, which was the FIRST wedding that I had actually ever attended! I hardly knew the difference between a ceremony and reception but I was HOOKED!

Over the years, I kept practicing my photography skills and started to take portraits for friends and family. I would work on building the backend of my business and second shooting as many weddings as I could over the summers until I officially opened doors as a business owner at the beginning of 2018. Only 11 months after that, I went full time as a wedding photographer after quitting my 9-5 job! In the video I walk through what some of the KEY points in my journey were that helped me get to where I am today!
