I was so glad I got to photograph Leyla’s UVA grad portrait session! We had originally planned to shoot in early spring but had to cancel due to coronavirus. I was so happy when she reached out in June to see if we could still photographer her grad portraits.

I FINALLY got to get back to shooting a little bit during quarantine for Meghan’s UVA graduation portrait experience!! I am so glad that I got to hang out with her (and her mom!) to snap some pictures to celebrate this beautiful (but definitely different!) season of life! Meghan graduated online like the rest of 2020 but came back to Grounds to move out of her apartment the day before her session. We had originally planned to take her pictures in March but obviously had to push back to when it was a little safer to do so. We also almosttt rescheduled yet again due to the weather but ended up lucking out with the most beautiful day on the Lawn!

Any chance to do UVA graduation portraits on the Lawn and at the Rotunda is so much fun! I absolutely love doing these each and every year and generally have a TON scheduled back to back whenever I travel to Charlottesville in the spring around graduation season. But whenever I get the chance to do them for students in the fall is even more special 🙂 Nothing beats the perfect fall day on the Lawn!!
