Helena and I planned out her shoot for a summer evening by the docks in Old Town Alexandria! I was super excited to meet her after talking to her over email to plan out her navy and white nautical themed senior shoot!
Man this past week just flew by! If you’re new to Friday Fun on the blog, check out Take 1 first! This week’s memorable moments include a graduation party, going to a food festival TWICE, an unwanted creature, photo things and A PINEAPPLE!
Graduation weekend at UVA really is a once in a lifetime thing :’) It’s an emotional rollercoaster throughout the entire weekend but you end up for the better on the other side! I have NEVER seen so many balloons, celebrations, hugs, and overall JOY before in one place, it was the craziest & happiest thing to witness. You try to soak it all in, take pictures, write a blog post and remember it for a lifetime!
I met up with Rupali for her senior photos at the metro station last Friday and we rode in together to Georgetown to take her senior photos! I got to catch up with her and hear about her summer plans and about CMU where she’ll be going in the fall while we took pictures in the cobblestreets, canals of Georgetown waterfront!
This year I was grateful enough to be asked to photograph 24 fellow fourth year Hoos of the graduating Class of 2017!!! While we were all wrapping up assignments, final projects, exams, capstones and theses, we were able to slow down and spend some time on the Lawn getting pictures taken! Here’s some of my favorites from the first group of seniors from UVA’s Class of 2017!!!
You know the kind of people that are always fun to be around and just being near them makes your day better? That’s Riya!!! I am SO incredibly grateful I got to know her through through our dance team over the past couple of years and got to take her pictures!
Where to even start??!!! How do you scribe down a friendship of four years into a couple hundred words? I met Lakshmi within my first year and by our third and fourth year, we became apartment mates and one of my closest friends at UVA. I am so honored that I got to take your pictures!
Welcome to a blog post about one of my favorite humans at the University of Virginia!!! I met Jillian four years ago as a first year through a friend and she’s been a part of my main group of friends ever since! From hours spent in Wilsdorf and in Nau, to fun dumpling dates on the Lawn, wine nights, and everything in between, I can’t imagine my four years at UVA without having Jillian as a part of them.
Take a look at some of my favorite cap & gown pictures from 2016! I can’t believe that this will finally be me in the spring! Only one semester left!!!! 😀
