Alex & Carter met at UVA during their time on the Housing & Residence Life teams. They had the ultimate first date on Grounds grabbing sandwiches from a market and picnicking near Observatory Hill! It’s so cute watching the two of them together because I have known Alex since we were in high school together and have grown up alongside him! I remember our group of friends would always wonder who he’d end up with during our first year of college and I truly couldn’t think of anyone more perfect than Carter for him!
After having to move their April wedding to November, Semir and Manal eventually decided to move their Carnegie Institute for Science DC wedding to be held at the National Arboretum.
I ended my 2020 (albeit short) wedding season with Molly & Gill’s intimate & classic Intercontinental Wharf Wedding in DC!
Stephanie & Joe’s day at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was one to remember for years to come. They had waited so long and faced so many obstacles this year to make their wedding day happen! I was truly blessed to be by their families & guests sides to watch them tie the knot on the bayside!
This will hands down be my favorite shoot of 2020 and probably my favorite proposal ever because I’m biased and that girl down there is my BEST friend! We’ve known each other since before I was even two years old and to say we grew up together and that her family is like my family would be an understatement!
I photographed Abhi & Anuj’s wedding day pictures last week! It was a CRAZY turnaround time because Abhi reached out on Monday and we photographed their pictures after their ceremony on Thursday!! That’s LESS than a week!! It turned out beautifully though! Initially, we were going to take images at the Hindu Temple in Sterling but after seeing the rain in the forecast, we decided to move the pictures a little later in the day and decided to take them in their backyard in Ashburn.
Every so often you have a wedding day that you know BEFORE is going to be incredibly emotional & heartfelt. Margaret & Brian were officially married on November 24th during Thanksgiving Week and had a small intimate wedding in their home so that Margaret’s dad would be able to witness his daughter’s marriage before he passed away. They pulled the ENTIRE thing together in about 5 hours so that her dad would be able to be awake and witness it before he passed.
I am so incredibly fortunate to have a lot of friends turned clients for my 2020 wedding season! It’s so sweet to be able to walk alongside my friends through their engagement process, walk them through the photography experience and be there step by step with them on their wedding day, celebrating & capturing the […]
Semir & Manal’s Washington D.C. Engagement Session I absolutely love getting to meet my couples and hear about them and what they’re most excited about for their wedding day! I also always appreciate when couples are able to convey what they value most on their wedding day and I loved Semir & Manal’s emphasis on […]
